Back to School

I am sure we have all seen the Target "back to school" commercials that are playing repeatedly. As a college student the back to school season carries more importance on my attire rather than my notebooks. I have put together of list of my "back to school" essentials that I think would be helpful for any college "fashionista". *Always remember that if something is out of your price range, stick to the same idea and don't be afraid to buy something similar at Target, Old Navy, or DSW.

Welcome Wedges

It is officially warm weather. For me warm weather means one thing...WEDGES! I just love the simplicity, comfrot, and variations within wedges. There are so many to choose from that it can be over welming. I happen to be very particular about my wedges, being very particular about platform size, straps, and especially color! I do understand not everyone has the same taste, but I am going to share with you my favorite picks for the summer. I also have to battle with the fact that I am 5'2" and shoes can easily swallow me up if not executed properly. So if you are in the same boat, here are my rules for wedges: 

· Front platform may not exceed 1-1/4” ·  Avoid clunky, chunky, & strappy · Minimal speaks more · Use neutral colors, they elongate legs · Comfort first •

Blue Suede Shoes

    

Spring is officially here and I am not letting the snow bring my outfits down. Its was snowing and quite chilly but I felt obligated to have some Rita's water ice and throw my blue heels on for the first official day of spring. I am taking advantage of these last chilly days to wear my grandmothers vintage fur coat, sorry PETA. Stayed tuned for my favorite spring must have wardrobe pieces!

Birthday Sparkles

Last weekend was my birthday and I believe in celebrating all week long, so I have been absent. But I have great friends and family that celebrated along side of me!!
